Overview

MaxMedia offers two kinds of tools that handle your data differently. Please read the section that matches the feature you use:

  • Local tools (no upload) — Image / audio / video compression, image-to-SVG, and in-browser local speech-to-text. Your files never leave your device.
  • Cloud AI tools (data is sent) — AI upscale / cutout / erase / poster, cloud speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice cloning. These send your file to third-party AI services for processing.

Local tools: no upload

Compression, vectorize and local Whisper transcription run entirely in your browser. We never upload, store or access your files, and results stay on your device.

Selected files are held only in browser memory while you work, and discarded when you close the page or click reset.

Cloud AI tools: how data is handled

When you use the AI Image Toolkit, cloud transcription, text-to-speech or voice cloning, the image / audio / text you submit is forwarded through our server to the relevant third-party AI provider for processing, and the result is returned to you. These features are metered by redeem codes — no account required.

We do not persist your submitted source files; AI-generated images may be cached briefly in our object storage (Cloudflare R2) so you can download them. How each provider handles data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Data We Store

We require no sign-up and collect no personal identifiers (name, email) and build no user profiles. For operation and abuse prevention we keep only the minimum:

  • A hashed IP (irreversible, used only for per-IP daily rate limiting to prevent abuse), which expires automatically after a TTL
  • Redeem-code usage records (remaining credits, last-used time) for metering
  • Preferences stored in your own browser (last-used settings, UI language) — on your device only, we cannot read them

We set no advertising or tracking cookies and use no third-party analytics.

Cookies & Tracking

We run no ads, set no tracking cookies, and integrate no third-party analytics. The admin console uses a necessary session cookie (admin login only), which does not apply to regular visitors.

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of MaxMedia means you accept the updated policy.
